Dangerous Narratives

Riding on the heels of Trump’s exit from the oval office, this artwork is an abstract meditation on a pivotal moment in US History. Like a living, breathing, time-capsule of America during the pandemic, the work reflects on relationships between power, politics, and religion. There are moments of pause, with surreal imagery of empty NY landmarks devoid of people, juxtaposed with floating visuals of crowded streets from Summer social justice protests. The overwhelming flood of shapes, sound, and moving images makes this artwork a dynamic canvas for the artist’s message. Exhibited at Selenas Mountain in February 2021.
