Monument Installation

Monument is a short, animated film that functions as a projection mapping installation as well. Monument was directed by Cody Healey-Conelly and written by Monica Wendel. The loosely narrative film follows the exploits of humanoid characters through a world situated in the uncanny valley, at once familiar but unsettlingly strange. All of the textures, 3D models, and locations used in the film were 3D scanned in NYC using a phone. The voice over is "read" by an artificially intelligent computer script going by the name of Matthew. All objects in the installation are foamcore elements reused from previous installations or found monitors.
